Our physical and mental wellbeing is influenced by our social and natural environment, as demonstrated during lockdowns from the covid-19 pandemic. Anthropocene marks how the wellbeing of the planet is also greatly impacted by human behavior. Issues such as climate change press an urgency for humanity to reflect upon the interplay between humanity and environmental at an individual, local, and global scale. How do Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relate with personal and community practices? How do we develop a better trajectory for earth and humankind?
This international online series of events aims to highlight actions that can build healthier relationships between humans and their environment. It is an opportunity for scholars, professionals, students, and members of the society from all over the world to come together to focus on a common vision for humanity and find solutions to improve personal wellbeing in ways that promote environmental sustainability and social cohesion and visa versa.
International participants are invited to explore the topic, discuss approaches and ideas, share communication strategies and develop support networks to further healthy, sustainable human progress in an era of digital transformation. Taking a holistic transdisciplinary outlook, it looks at mental health promotion and prevention of mental health problems from various angles.
Panels across disciplines are invited to engage participants to take to take steps in their daily life and real-world action that enhance personal wellbeing, positive relationships and care for humanity and environmental sustainability. It aims to promote personal wellbeing by creating opportunities for people to make a real difference.
